Account data: Name, email address, password (hashed)
Search logs: Search types, queries, timestamps, IP address
Payment data: Transaction IDs and amounts (no card details stored)
Usage data: Login timestamps, session count

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service
To process payments and manage credits
To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service
To send important service notifications

3. Search Logs as Security Records

All searches performed on IntelGrid are logged and retained as cybersecurity records. Administrators may review search logs to detect abuse, investigate disputes, or comply with lawful requests. Search logs are retained for a minimum of 90 days.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your authentication token. No tracking cookies are used.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@intelgrid.in. Note that search logs retained for legal/security purposes may be exempt from deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app banner.
